A marketing student, model, and philanthropist, this fresh, natural, and effervescent beauty has defied all odds in pursuit of success and strives by the mantra, “A positive mind, with positive thoughts, gives positive results.”

After picking up the pieces from personal and professional disappointment and misfortunes, she is now firmly on the path of her dreams.  She took the high-fashion and beauty world by storm in winning the Miss Universe Jamaica Pageant and not only achieved the amazing feat of being second runner-up at Miss Universe 2017,   but she engaged millions, acquired a loyal following of global fans and totally disrupted social media with her inimitable island charm and fascinating style.  The world is now her oyster and her eyes are firmly focused on making her dreams a reality.

Davina is passionate about giving back, as, throughout her modeling career she gained valuable experience and she wants to impart this knowledge to aspiring models in particular and young women in general.  This passion for philanthropy gave way to the Davina Bennett Foundation for the Deaf, which she created to train and inspire a deaf model, but which has now grown to include a wider cross-section of Jamaica’s deaf.  Davina hopes to change the perception towards the deaf community and help integrate this underserved population more into mainstream society.

She is twenty-one years old, 5’ 10” tall, likes the color gold, seafood as her favorite dish, and track and field as one of her favorite sports.  Her hobbies include working out in the gym, jogging, collecting articles from the sea, sampling, and exploring new cuisines.
